ACTIVITY ONE: have a look at the headlines, pictures, type of stories and language register.What kind of paper is it?Is it similar to the one you would read in your own language?Tell the people in your group.

ACTIVITY TWO:Find a news item mentioned in all the papers your group has reviewed.What is the difference in the way the story is dealt with in each paper?Report to the class.

ACTIVITY THREE:Is there a search box in the paper you looked at?If so, can you find any news about Spain in the last three months or so?If not, “google” it.Share your findings with the group and then report them to the rest of the class.
