Perhaps it is a great opportunity for many Americans to wake up to the shortcomings of their democratic system.On the other hand, it seems that the concept of prosperity the last three decades of neoliberalism have seen is an unsustainable one in a physically limited world where constantly increasing extraction of the planet's natural resources can only lead to devastation and mass suicide as a species. Very interesting. Even <strong>though</strong> the president has <strong>promised to seek</strong> an agreement with medical <strong>in</strong>surance companies , <strong>a great deal of</strong> Americans <strong>are highly sceptical about it</strong>. <strong>Some</strong> are completely sure that taxes would be increased after that, specially in the middle class while others doubt about the <strong>ability</strong> of the goverment to succesfully <strong>insure everybody </strong>without changing <strong>other</strong> <strong>social services</strong> ;and <strong>yet</strong> another percentage <strong>are sure</strong> <strong>that this will not be </strong> carried out<strong> in at least</strong> a few years. Although Obama was elected by <strong>blacks and latinamericans who had great faith in him </strong> as a figure of hope for the states, it seems that most of the ones who were convinced of that are <strong>beginning</strong> <strong>to be</strong> mad at him.<strong>The Last Surveys</strong> <strong>show</strong> small percentages <strong>in</strong> his favour. Crisis and <strong>unemployment</strong> <strong>flog the world all over</strong> and <strong>mo</strong>st of the presidents only have four or five years <strong>left</strong> to create a new prosper<strong>ous</strong> world.
